THE CHRISTIAN SPORTING GOVERNING BODY (CSGB) uses sports as a platform to fight against societal ills such as; drug abuse, child trafficking, arm robbery, abortion, food scarcity, illiteracy, war, food scarcity and to ensure food security likewise increasing dignity in the discipline of sports,
and have as objectives;
1. To promote positive values and behaviors: By showcasing human values through sports, CSGB seeks to promote values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, and fair play, which will help reduce societal ills such as drug abuse, abortion, child trafficking, and arm robbery.
2. To educate and raising awareness: The organization uses sports events and programs to educate the public about the negative consequences of societal ills such as cyber security breaches and drug abuse, and raise awareness about the importance of preventing and addressing these issues.
3. To provide opportunities for positive engagement: By participating in sports activities and events, individuals will engage in positive and healthy activities that will help prevent them from engaging in negative behaviors such as arm robbery, drug abuse, child trafficking, vandalism and the rest.
4.To create a sense of community belonging: Sports events and programs will bring people together, create a sense of community, and foster positive relationships and connections among participants, which will go a long way to combat issues such as child trafficking, cyber security breaches, etc.
5. To empower individuals to make positive choices: By promoting human values through sports, CSGB seeks to empower individuals to make positive choices in their lives and resist negative influences such as drug abuse, abortion, and arm robbery.
